I never really understood why this movie got so much hate when it first came out. It’s a pretty spectacular sci-fi story. Definitely reminds me of some of the old school stuff I’ve read which is my sci-fi bread and butter.

It is a fantastic story. You have to let the story tell itself. Definitely a thinking person’s story.

Didn't really stick with me. All I remember is thinking: "hey, this is like 'Brave New World' with enough editorials that they don't have to pay Huxleys's estate". I like BNW so I probably liked it?

I would recommend giving it another go. It is fairly slow paced, but it builds well and will leave you thinking about tomorrow. Watch it with an intellectual peer!

This is one of those movies that I remember watching, but I don’t remember any of the content from the movie.

Almost the only thing I remember about this movie is that parts of it were filmed at my college.

I remember watching this in high school science class with regards to the lesson on DNA and genetics. I wish I remembered more about it, I didn't hate the film, I certainly thought it had a unique premise and it was well made, but I don't remember much about it either. It's one of those movies who's skills and merits I can respect, but do nothing for me in terms of being memorable.

It is worth revisiting.

I think so. It couldn't have been bad because I remember bad movies. I must've had it on Netflix while I was doing something else, which is probably why it didn't stick.

I was like that then I watched it again last year. One of my all time favorites now.
